Real Bride Lexi | A Washington DC Wedding Day

What began as a chance moment on a college dorm terrace blossomed into a love story. Our #luxereduxbride Lexi first caught Evrard’s eye back in September 2017 at Central Michigan University. He wasn’t planning on saying a word until he saw her walking down the hallway. One compliment, one exchanged phone number, and from that night on, the two were inseparable.

From college graduation to navigating the challenges of the pandemic and eventually settling back in the DMV region, Lexi and Evrard built a life rooted in deep friendship, laughter, and an unshakable support system. Their relationship has been shaped by shared passions: traveling together, staying active, binge-watching their favorite reality shows and movies, and especially music. With impeccable taste across genres, they’ve always curated the perfect soundtrack to their love story.

In December 2023, the two took a magical trip to Spain. Splitting their time between Madrid and Barcelona, Lexi and Evrard soaked in breathtaking architecture, glowing sunrises, and the romance of travel abroad. It was there, surrounded by beauty and adventure, that Evrard proposed, marking the start of their next chapter together.

Washington DC Wedding Day

When it came time to find the dress, Lexi turned to Luxe Redux Bridal in Detroit for an experience that aligned perfectly with her priorities. “My goal was to feel beautiful on my wedding day — not necessarily to be expensive,” she shared. Luxe Redux offered the ideal balance of designer styles she loved with the ability to walk out with the dress of her dreams that same day. With the guidance of stylist Aixa, the experience became even more meaningful. “She was so sweet and caring and noticed all of my emotions while trying on dresses. She never let me talk myself out of what I really loved,” Lexi said. “I’m so grateful for how she guided me through the entire process.” Lexi wore Tara Keely Diana paired with the Toni Federici Lissette veil.

Lexi and Evrard said “I do” on October 10, 2025 at The Line Hotel in Washington, DC — a chic, modern setting that reflects their elevated style. Lexi's favorite moment from the big day? Their first look and private vows. Choosing to exchange vows one-on-one was an intentional and deeply meaningful decision. “We were in a very beautiful place and got to share exactly what was on our minds and what we needed to move forward in our new lives together,” she shared. “It was the best decision we could’ve ever made.”

Lexi and Evrard’s journey started from a college hallway encounter and spanned years of growth, adventure, and intention. We’re so honored to have been a part of Lexi’s bridal experience and we're overjoyed to see these two step into their forever.
