Alexandra + Austin | Olympic National Park Wedding

As the seasons begin to change, we have been dreaming about an enchanting and magical Washington wedding. Whether it’s an edgy modern wedding in downtown Seattle or a more romantic and intimate affair among the mountains and dense trees in one of the many national parks, Washington is the nature lovers dream.

Our real bride Alexandra had the most enchanting and quaint outdoor wedding at Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park. Nature has always been a pillar in Alexandra and Austin’s relationship, and being outdoors is a place where their love for each other has blossomed for more than a decade. Whether it’s traveling to different national parks, or getting married in one, the two have made it a goal to visit each national park together - a detail that brought even more charm to their day. Each part of Alexandra and Austin’s wedding day was intimate, intentional, and showed the amount of love that they have for each other.

Alexandra and Austin’s scenery throughout the day is exactly what we would imagine from the Pacific Northwest. The calm water of the alpine lakes, the dimension of the forest, and the vastness of the lush mountains paired perfectly with the deep red and green tones in the florals and accents throughout the day. These details were thoughtfully carried through into the reception space where each table was decorated delicately to match the bouquet Alexandra carried with her. Alexandra and Austin spent the night surrounded by fourteen of their closest family members sharing laughs, sharing stories, and most importantly sharing space together in nature.

“I would say that our reception was absolutely the most special memory from our wedding day. It was truly the best day of my life, and one that not only Austin and I will remember, but our families will forever too.”

Not only was their love of nature a key element for their wedding location, details, and design - it was also an aspect that Alexandra considered when looking for a dress. Alexandra wore a timeless, elegant, and intricate lace detailed gown by Watters. One just as delicate, romantic, and intimate as the day.

"I knew Indra by Watters was the dress for me as soon as I saw that magnificent train. The lace details perfectly encompassed the beauty of nature (leaves and flowers). It was the perfect dress to represent me, and also provided the perfect compliment to the beautiful location of our wedding."
