St. Thomas Wedding | Real Bride Nicole

As high school sweethearts, Nicole and Brendan grew up alongside each other, building a relationship that would eventually take them from their teenage years to a life together — and, ultimately, to a wedding in St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Their engagement was just as unforgettable as their history. While on a ski trip with their best friends, Brendan planned a surprise that Nicole never saw coming. In the middle of the mountain, surrounded by their closest friends and the winter scenery, he got down on one knee and asked Nicole to marry him. And she had absolutely no idea it was coming!

Wedding planning was officially underway, and Nicole knew there was one detail she was especially excited to find was her wedding dress.

Nicole first discovered her gown at Luxe Redux Cleveland, where Calla Blanche Miku immediately caught her attention. She loved the way Luxe Redux approached bridal shopping, offering designer dresses that felt both affordable and unique, unlike the traditional boutique experience.

But there was one problem: Nicole wanted her mom and grandma to see the dress before she bought it. So the Cleveland boutique shipped the dress to Luxe Redux Pittsburgh — where Nicole's mom lived — and she said yes to the gown she had already fallen in love with surrounded by the people closest to her. Calla Blanche Miku aligned perfectly with what she had envisioned for herself before she ever stepped into a bridal boutique.

For Nicole, the dress became one of the most memorable details of the entire wedding day.

On May 25, 2025, Nicole and Brendan exchanged vows in St. Thomas, surrounded by the people who have been part of their story from the beginning. After years of growing up together and building a life side by side, their wedding day marked the beginning of a new chapter in a romantic destination setting.

Of all the moments throughout the celebration, Nicole's favorite was dancing with her husband and all of their closest friends and family. After the planning, the travel, and all the little details that went into creating their destination wedding, being surrounded by the people they love most was what made the day truly special.

When asked about her favorite wedding day detail, Nicole's answer was immediate: "My DRESS!"

For future #LuxeReduxBrides, Nicole's biggest piece of advice is to remember that even the best-planned wedding won't always go exactly as expected.

"Things won’t always go right, that’s okay!" she shares. "The day will still turn out beautiful no matter what life throws at you!"
