Real Bride Feature // Tiffany + Alex
We're absolutely swooning over #luxereduxbride Tiffany's wedding week! From an intimate ceremony to ending their reception by jumping into a pool, every detail was perfection.
Tiffany and Alex met on Tinder, but coincidentally had mutual friends that they ran into on their first date! They dated for a few years and were engaged on a trip celebrating their 5 year anniversary.
"Alex proposed in Virginia at a beautiful Airbnb situated on a farm, where we were celebrating our 5 year anniversary. With blogging, he originally planned to wait for me to get ready the next morning to take photos and get it all on camera thanks to our tripod, but was so excited/nervous that he asked me right after we arrived and brought all of our bags in late that night. While I may have been in sweats, Uggs, and no makeup... I am actually really happy with how it happened and how it was truly just between us! I had not one clue that it was going to happen and that may have been the best part of it all."
The two had an intimate ceremony, with only 13 of their closest friends and family present.
Tiffany created the perfect bridal wardrobe and wore several stunning dresses throughout the week, choosing a stunning Berta gown for her ceremony.
"I have had my eyes set on a Berta gown since I discovered the designer, but it comes with quite a price tag and I knew I wanted more than one dress for our wedding week. After visiting Luxe Redux a few years ago for a party/photoshoot I knew that was the first place I wanted to go!"
Tiffany and Alex turned their wedding into a week of events to truly be around their loved ones + celebrate the occasion.
"Our wedding week started with a relaxing day just Alex and I traveling and then having a date night at our venue. On the second day, everyone arrived for our rehearsal and dinner on the lawn/patio at The Fairville Inn. Wednesday was our wedding day, Thursday we went to Longwood Gardens with our family and Friday we drove home to do it all again in Pittsburgh. Saturday was our reception at Greensburg Country Club, Sunday we threw a 'Happily ever after' pool party (since it was the 4th of July!) and Monday we had brunch with those who were still in town!"
The couple ended their perfect wedding week by jumping into the pool together - with several guests joining in!
"There's not one point that I cannot remember, the feelings, the setting, everyone's laughter (and tears). We were married on a Wednesday in Glen Mills and then took the party back home to Greensburg where we had a larger reception with lots of out of town guests. While I don't remember everything about that night, I will never forget that it started with passed champagne on the covered porch with all of our guests surrounding us and ended with Alex and I jumping in the pool!"
